So yes, it's been a very hot and sunny week in Brunei. I guess the El Nino really messed up with the climate over here. Usually it is the wet season up until December but I guess it's gonna be a dry season. With all the haze surrounding the country, it's gonna get even more worse. Even people are getting sick with the weather that keeps on getting hotter and hotter.
The happenings in Brunei, twice the capital has been disrupted by electricity failures. Usually it occurs during the night and yes the atmosphere and weather during the night can be so very hot as well. Areas affected are usually the Gadong, part of Berakas, Sengkurong and Kianggeh mukims. I guess the Gadong Power Station needs to be examine to prevent future outages. Even last year there was a case a cable was stolen from the said Power Station, how crazy is that? It must be a professional job to be able to cut off and steal a portion of the cable in a secured area. Else the culprits might have gotten electrocuted if they made any mistakes.
Just now I've chatted with a friend of mine, and to my surprise a total of 6,000 people in Brunei are designated as Fakir & Miskin. That's really a huge number of people considering Brunei's population is only about 350,000 people. It's really worrying and we don't know that maybe in about 10 years time, the numbers might double or triple. I just pray that won't happen.

It's been awhile I haven't blogged, but yeah I know I have been neglecting my blog so much. Ramadhan was all good, I've enjoyed that month so much. I've fasted for the entire month and I hope that my good deeds will be accepted by Allah the Almighty. Amin.
