I'm planning to decommission my Vans Geoff Rowley XIII shoe by this end of the year. So yeah time to get a new shoe, preferably a skate shoes (because I love the comfortable thick tongue of skate shoes). But getting a new one is probably going to be hard since it's hard to find an authentic Vans shoe in Brunei. But I guess I wouldn't mind if it's not genuine, as long as it fits comfortably on my two feet and I'll be very happy. So I'm planning to get a German brand shoe for next year, probably Adidas or Puma. I like some of the designs of their shoes so I might be getting one or two haha. But if it's possible I want to order the Vans shoe online... hmm... very tempting. I want the Prison #23 because it has velcro straps on and also Geoff Rowley XLT Elite LS in black/white which looks like the XIII ones. Well if my budget permits, I'd get two of those haha. I'm really in need of new shoes.
Just awesome, I really want it so bad.
On the other hand, I'm looking for a second hand or used golf clubs set. So yeah I'm willing to buy the set somewhere below BND500.00. So if you've got something to offer me, hit me back on my tagboard.
I really missed the 90's so much. I missed my childhood days. I remember me and my siblings were having this water warfare right behind our flat with our neighbours brandishing Super Soaker rifles and wetting each others out for the whole Sunday. There's also the weekly bicycle race from the steep slope of road right between the houses of our neighbours up to the junction of the road beside my flat. I remember I raced using my bicycle with 2 mini-wheels attached. I was still learning how to cycle that time and I got the lead but I ended up going towards the drain and fell there and cried.
When it was Eidulfitri festivities, it was the best. I remember decorating and fixing the whole living room before Eidulfitri was the best. Playing firecrackers and fireworks during the night with the neighbours. Blasting rockets and spinning fireworks on the plank. I remember mom was the only one who dared to light the fuse for the chinese firecrackers and the dangerous firebombs haha. The festive visits was also warming and during the first day we would travel to Seria and sleepover at my cousin's place and we played fireworks during midnight before going to bed.
Ahh.. Memories.. I really love my childhood days. Who doesn't, right? I wish I can relived those days again. If only there is a technology that can record our memories and keep it for viewing in later years, that would be awesome. That reminds me of the movie Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, where in the movie they have this Dream Catcher/Recorder device, it was used to record your dreams during your sleep. Quite handy, I wonder if there are any under development. The possibilities of newer technologies in the future, who knows we might have one, probably Japan haha.
Anyways enough of me being nostalgic, this photo of me taken by girlfriend, Nabilah HJ. A silhouette of myself, the natural effects of fog on the lens and perfect background of the South China Sea along the rocky shores of Tungku Beach with the strong sea breeze during sunset, very perfect!
So yeah like the title says, I'm currently digging old PSX archives to search for some interesting videogames that can take away my time. I found that most of the popular PSX titles can be converted to be played on a PSP. Quite neat, huh? I really love digital technology. Everything seems impossible, gotta applaud the hackers and crackers to be able to make the conversion possible. So right now I'm playing Saga Frontier. I love this game. I just love old Squaresoft (its old name was Square and then changed to Squaresoft and then Square Enix now) games. I even tried to get a hold of Final Fantasy VIII conversion on the PSP but it's very buggy and has issues about the game freezing while in battle. So nyeh, I'll try to just play the PC version of it since the PSX games are hardly or almost entirely impossible to get nowadays.
I remember the only games that I have ever finished was Thousand Arms, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII, Xenogears, Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy IX, and some others. I used to have this habit, no I still do this until now, I tend to leave the game when I nearly reach the end of the game, like the last dungeon or the last final battle with the boss, I will completely leave it for a new game. I don't know why, maybe it's because I didn't want to end it or I wanted to complete it along with the mini-quests and some other stuffs like finding the perfect weapons or secret items but I just couldn't. That was my bad habit and I also found out that there are similar people out there just like me as well who abandons the game after reaching a certain point. So it's not just me, maybe that's the nature of the structure of the videogame, the creator knows the gamers very well so they made it where there will be no point of return once you reach a certain point in the game.
I guess that's how you get addicted to videogames. To certain people, it's different to each and everyone. Some love it because of the gameplay, some for the realism, some for the storyline and some just for the kill of it. So yeah I used to be a game addict but I can control myself to realised that it's just a game. If only videogame girls are real, I would really wish for one.
For now, I'll just enjoy the great old days and play some decade year old videogames to my fullest :)
Some of the facts about myself. This will be in random order.
I think that is all I could think of. I'm running out of ideas on what to add anymore. Hope that helps you to know about me. Cheers.
Wish you a very wonderful year ahead of you and also be successful in your studies and everything you do.
I love you with all my heart and soul. I will always be there for you love :)
Happy 20th Birthday darling. Have a blast on your birthday!
