Last weekend, me and my Aurellia went to see a movie at a cinema. The initial plan was to watch the movie Max Payne at the Mall Cineplex which I had already reserved a couple seat for but then we had to scrap off the plan because we had a late lunch at my crib. So we decided to watch anything at the Empire Cinema hoping there would be a movie showing around 2 pm. So we went there as fast as we could and luckily the movie Eagle Eye was still showing there, which my Aurellia wanted to watch so much but the Mall Cineplex aren't showing it anymore.
The movie was an action/thriller conspiracy themed movie which touches the subject about citizens' privacy, the impact of digital technology where Artificial Intelligence plays a big role in managing the tasks of investigating, making judgments and actions according to collected data, executing executive decisions for a country, which in this particular movie, is the United States of America. The movie clearly shows how fully dependent we are on digital technology for our everyday life and how leaving decision making to an Artificial Intelligence system that could have make it fully steadfast to its written instructions, would only bring disaster as the imperfections of human decisions and leniency allowed the World to be in stability instead of chaos.
I'd give the movie 8/10 just because of how the plot and story weaved together and in the end showing what the true purpose of the A.I. selecting Jerry Shaw and Rachel Holloman to lead them to various actions and tasks. The only downside to this movie is the car chase scene right at the second quarter of the movie which left me dizzy because of the messy and disorderly camera angles.
I really love you so much Nabilah HJ!
